Jessica 6 at BLOW UP

Hello again friends!! It’s been quite a while, but no worries, your favorite time of the month is here once again. Time to get all your friends together and get ready to blow up and get down with our guests, Jessica 6!

So…I just turned 21, and I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with all my favorite party people here at Blow Up SF!! There really is no place I’d rather be. I’ve been waiting for this day since I started coming here. By the way, if we are acquainted, I do expect you to join me in a toast!

This Friday we will be accompanied by the sweet seductive tones of Brooklyn’s, Jessica 6. With bassist Andrew Raposo, Morgan Wiley on the keys and synths, and of course their eccentric front woman Nomi Ruiz, Jessica 6 blends together the sounds of Nu Disco, Hip-Hop and R&B. This trio first met while performing with Hercules and Love Affair, where Ruiz would act as a guest vocalist for the band. According to Raposo, the three just enjoyed sharing eachother’s music outside of the hercules project and that it was really just about having fun. Without a doubt, the best music comes out of the love for it, and Jessica 6 is proof of that. These three don’t just put all their work into their recordings, but are also very passionate about their live performances. After playing together over the years, Nomi, Andrew, and Morgan have some amazing chemistry on stage. And we all can’t wait to witness it this Friday!!

The Summer has just begun, so why would you miss a great night out? Come join us in this celebration! I can’t express it enough, how excited I am to celebrate my 21st here with all the wildest party people in San Francisco! Love you Blow Up.
